FrameBow History, Hairstory, Herstory
Where to begin? It never ends!
The original FrameBow was invented in the spring of 2025, by custom frame shop owner, Malu Ayers, owner of Blue Skies Art & Frame in Austin, TX.
The Framebow was years in making, with its first origins dating back to a 2020 passion project, the "ribbon frame,"- a 3-D printed concept frame that existed for nothing more than the joy and whimsy of it.

Five years later, with the desire to gift things, and put bows on things growing ever stronger, the FrameBow was born. It didn't hurt that the concept developer, and artist herself was no stranger to accessories- and what's so different from a bow for a head, than a bow for a frame?

FrameBow became more than an accessory. It became alive with spirit. It became a friend, a protector of joy, and a reminder that everything has this same spirit if we look closely enough.
The FrameBow-verse is a place where dreams become real, your favorite memories talk back to you, and the still life of everyday becomes animated. The FrameBow-verse shows that declaring is caring.
Intention matters.
FrameBow believes that you build your world
and you can put bows on whatever you want that's in it!
